Kalyma

Growing up in Gran Canaria and now residing in Berlin since 2012, Kalyma’s personal journey is
as interesting as his musical one. As one of the founders, alongside MYNY and D.Y.A, of the label
Solide the producer is responsible for several drum and rhythm oriented tracks that were not only
released on his own platform Solide but also labels like Connected Frontline.

His sound is percussive and powerful. His productions are characterized by a driving, deep, analog bassline dominating the lower frequency spectrum, shakers, congas and claves create an organic groove on top.

In 2015 his debut release “Sacrosanct on Solide” gave him a promising start in the world of
electronic music as the release was played by every renowned DJ in the scene.

Finishing his studies as a sound designer, he focused on his productions and builds up a creative
studio place with his label mate D.Y.A.
